Coordinate Field Service activities
(job assignment, billing, feedback) on a global basis for North American
product lines, direct interface with the various Product Teams on
warranty and technical issues, lead the strategy/start up of the
Union Pump Product Support organization. Develop with Marketing the
multi-generation plan for Field Service Agreements. Develop value
add services to grow the Field Service: Training, commissioning,
start ups, routine maintenance full system assessments. Have direct
responsibility for East Coast Service Center and Salt Lake City SC
agreements: (Repairs and Field Service outsourcing).
If applicable
perform field service work and trouble shooting as required.
Primary
Responsibilities:
A. Define resource strategy to meet customer field serivce needs.
B. Coordinate and approve field service rates for NA Product lines globally.
C. Maintain process and set priorities to coordinate field service activites for all regions.
D. Maintain process for main plant warranty support (field support for warranty jobs).
E. Make site visits and supervise or perform field work as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities Required:
Leadership skills and business acumen to develop a field service organization globally and manage outsourcing service contracts. Knowledge of pumping equipment, preferrably centrifugal and reciprocating built per American Petroleum Institute Standards.
Experience managing and coordinating schedules. Knowledge of pumping equipement built per American Petroleum Institute Standards.Previous site field service experience preferred. Ability to travel internationally.
