Responsibilities: |
The Product Manager performs an
integrated role to support profitable business growth by providing
tools and a vehicle for global integration or product lines based on
business data, market intelligence, product planning and product
development in line with vision and strategy of the organization. -
Formulates strategy and marketing plans for Cone Drive. -
Coordinates with the Marcomm manager for all company marketing
collateral including brochures, catalogs, mailers, website. -
Conducts research to assess the competitive position of the product
portfolio against the competition as well as develop future growth
opportunities. - Helps develop detailed product plan and new product
pipelines that is consistent with the vision and strategy of the
business unit. - Responsible for managing the entire product life
cycle of the assigned product portfolio. Partnering with
Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and IT in the development and
launch of new products and improvements to existing products. -
Provides the necessary support to the Sales function, including
product training, developing competitive product information and
analysis, participating in regional sales meetings, trade show
scheduling and participation, and working with customers. - Assists
with technology transfer, licensing, partnership assessment and
development. - Protect and develop the company's brands via suitable
PR activites and intellectual property/trademark management. -
Maintain adminstration and relevant reporting/planning systems and
provide necessary information to management. |
